OUR FOCUS

Our focus in raising funds for Anurag is securing a sponsor for every child at Anurag. We have partnered with Compassion International and they sponsor about 590 children in the Anurag Unnati Bal Vikas Kendra (after-school program for older kids). Private individuals are nor sponsoring the 83 children in the Anurag Covenant Primary School.

How You Can Help

Immediate Needs. A sponsorship costs $30/month and can be paid all at once, quarterly, monthly or however you like. If you sponsor a child, you will have the opportunity to exchange communication with your child. The staff at Anurag will translate letters to Hindi and vice versa so you can communicate with your sponsored child, if you wish.

There are 125 students in the Sewing and Tailoring Program. You can sponsor a young woman in this program for $30/month, which includes instruction, course materials, meals, uniform, and health care.

There are 70 infants and toddlers in the Day Care Program. You can sponsor a child in the Day Care Program for $30/month, which includes all the same amenities as those listed above in the Sewing and Tailoring Program.

General Donations. Anurag has other needs and financial requirements beyond its day-to-day operations.

Water coolers for clean, drinking water

Computers for children as well as for the young adult program

Healthcare Clinic. Financial support can also be given to continue and expand the onsite healthcare operations.

IMPORTANT: 100% of your donation goes directly to Anurag. None of your contributions go to pay administrative or fundraising expenses. All operating expenses are being taken care of by another donor (more details about this on the Contact Us page).

Also, if you designate your monies to a specific purpose, we will see that it goes to that purpose and nowhere else.

Tell us if your contribution is for child sponsorship or a one-time donation. Please also tell us how many children you would like to sponsor and if you prefer to send your sponsorship checks monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
